The winter is almost here and we look forward to this new skiing season! To initiate, our first hot spot for sport and glam, is ASPEN. Great cultural activities, renowned restaurants, but mostly a fascinating heritage!
Yes, Aspen was originally a summer hunting camp for the Ute Indians, but by 1870, miners arrived from nearby Colorado towns in search of silver. By early 1950s, Walter and Elizabeth Paepcke arrived to town and founded the Aspen Institute and the Aspen Skiing Company which helped transform the town into an international resort destination!
In Aspen don’t forget to visit the Paradise Bakery, only after a lot of skiing, to treat yourself with tasty cookies, and go for lunch on the slope to Ajax to eat the famous fries with truffles! For atletes go skiing until Cloud Nine for a nice lunch!
ASPEN gloves were made for phoneaholics. Don’t take out your gloves in the big cold when typing messages, as they are SMART gloves made for SMART phones! So you can keep track of things when you are on a break! Find them on:
